Bedford – Rae Anne Gardner, 55, of 3227 Riverbluff Road, Bedford, died at 8:00 am on Friday, September 1, 2006 at the Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, IN.
Born May 26, 1951 in Bloomington, IN, she was the daughter of Ray and Elizabeth Anne (Chastain) Tapp. She was a legal secretary and a member of the Gillen Post #33 American Legion Auxiliary, the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club, the Eagles Lodge and a former member of the Bedford Elks Lodge. Rae Anne was an avid golfer, NASCAR fan and loved fishing.
Survivors include her companion, Gary Gaiser of Bedford; one brother, Philip Tapp of Bloomington and one sister, Kitty Brim of Indianapolis.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 6th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pat Blyeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 5th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Gillen Post #33 American Legion in lieu of flowers.
